RICHARD PONTVERT S.A.

Present, across all the continents, Paraboot has been manufacturing in France, for almost 100 years, shoes made to last and for walking as far as possible, using the strengths and skilled hands of men and women."Authenticity, quality and charm for a true and natural product" Such is our motto! By simultaneously discovering boots and latex during a visit to the Americas, Remy Richard-Ponvert, the founder of Paraboot, came upon the idea of combining the two to make quality footwear. The result is a brand with ever-increasing worldwide prestige and distribution. Paraboot shoes are completely hand cut and hand stitched. Total loyalty to traditional techniques is as true for the“Norwegian Stitch” or Goodyear construction methods, as it is for the tanning process, to obtain the best leathers. Production was consolidated in January 2017 in a new plot of over 11,000 m 2 located in Saint-Jean-de-Moirains, which allows the company to modernize its production tools. Thus, nearly 100 employees produce 200,000 pairs of shoes per year. At the end of August 2016, the company achieved a turnover of 24 million euros. The company, which has 200 people, has 29 stores and produces almost 50% of export turnover (mainly in Asia and Europe).
